The Roles

Choose Your Role

Every game assigns you a secret role with unique abilities. Your goal depends on which side you're on.

Mafia

Members of the Mafia know each other and work together to eliminate the Townspeople. They must blend in during the day to avoid suspicion.

Night Action

Choose a player to eliminate. Only one kill per night — Mafia members must agree on the target.

Town

Townsperson

Ordinary citizens trying to survive. No special abilities, but your vote during the day is just as powerful as anyone else's.

Sleep with one eye open. You have no night action — your power lies in deduction and persuasion during the day.

Detective

Each night, investigate one player to uncover their true allegiance. Use your findings to guide the town's vote — but be careful who you trust.

Doctor

Each night, choose one player to protect from being killed. You can save yourself, but not the same person two nights in a row.

How a Round Works

The Game Cycle

Night Phase

The village falls silent. Mafia members secretly choose a target. The Detective investigates a suspicious player. The Doctor protects someone from harm. All actions are hidden — only the moderator knows everything.

Day Phase

The village wakes up. The moderator reveals what happened overnight — who was killed, or if the Doctor made a save. Players discuss, accuse, defend, and form alliances. Deception and deduction collide.

Voting

After discussion, everyone casts a vote to eliminate one suspected Mafia member. The accused gets a final chance to defend themselves. The player with the most votes is eliminated and their role is revealed.
